So I just finished watching The Descendants and the first thought that came to my mind when the credits started to roll was, “Well Played George Clooney, well played.”

I think he did an excellent job. His performance was just right and the three young actors did great as well. I never read the novel but the movie unfolded like one. I think my favorite scene is when the oldest daughter is told by her dad what is happening to her mom and she sort of sinks underwater and loses it for a brief second. It’s exactly what a 17yr old girl would do. 

Mr. Clooney deserves every award presented to him because he really did an excellent job playing a dad in the middle of a crisis. I was never the biggest fan of his but he sold me here. I recommend everyone to watch.
